Free....How Much Does It Cost?

I can remember looking for cheap was of finding and paying for Halloween gifts. I wanted the small, plastic toys that cost a penny or two. Now a days they might have gone up to a dime or so. Or at least the suppliers want us to think this is so to be given away at a Halloween Party way back in my college years. I was directed to a row of companies just off Broadway, North of the Loop 410, in San Antonio, Texas. I was in cheap toy heaven. We bought more than we needed and came out of the last store with extra cash. That was oh so long ago, long before I knew about free online auctions. Hell if the truth be told, that was before the Internet was born (circa. 1983; I graduated the college I was attending in San Antonio,Texas in 1978)
