Thinkin

It all started when a coworker noticed the upgraded laptops that others were getting. The data processing equipment that we use is leased for two years. I should be getting an upgrade about Christmas. As they asked the IT department about the improvements, it was mentioned that unlike a desktop personal computer, laptops do not have a video card - cuz there ain't enough room. When a computer shares memory with functions other than Thinkin' something suffers. We generally notice this difference in the speed or lack of same in the processing. Most of what we use the laptops for is database updates and report modifications and creation so having memory dedicated to video, sound or Thinkin' would be nice.
